Important Notice Regarding COVID-19
As we reopen our state’s economy many changes have been made here at Remarkable Smiles in Issaquah, WA. Please visit our website at RemarkableSmilesNW at least 24-48 hours prior to your next scheduled appointment and complete new registration, Health History, and COVID-19 release forms as we continue to move toward becoming a paperless office. Unfortunately, failing to do so will likely cause forfeiture of your appointment, possibly requiring you to reschedule at a much later date as we trying to accommodate thousands of rescheduled patients do to current events. Although there have been no changes required for dental offices by the CDC, WISHA, or Washington DOH as a result of the COVID-19 epidemic, we have made significant elective changes to ensure your health, safety, and your confidence in us to do so. We are proud to have an infection control policy that is far above and beyond that which is required by state and federal agencies. With that in mind though, for your safety and for the safety of our team, we are firmly asking you to do your part by adhering to the following:
On the day of your appointment please remember to wear your personal mask or scarf, we are unable to provide them to you. Upon your arrival, utilize our Virtual Lobby by calling us from your car, if possible, to let us know you have arrived. When our team is ready for your appointment, you will receive a call and we will have someone let you into the building. We will then take a no-touch forehead temperature and walk you directly to your treatment area if possible. We ask that only patients with appointments enter the waiting areas or treatment rooms. In cases when this is unavoidable, as with parents of minors or essential caretakers, they will also be required to follow the same screening process as the patient by filling out the COVID-19 release and having their own temperatures taken. They may then enter the treatment room with the patient. For those who wish to remain in the reception area, we have created seating with 6-foot social distancing in mind.
As patients walk past our newly installed barriers, they will be required to wash their hands prior to entering the treatment room and then asked to rinse with an oral pre-rinse prior to treatment. Many of you are already familiar with and using our prescription anti-bacterial rinse CTx4.
You will notice some changes in our PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as we continue to strive, as we always have, in dentistry to provide you and our team with the safest environment possible. We will also be taking temperatures of all team members daily. Feel free to ask any member of the team what new strategies we are employing to provide for your safety. And keep in mind, statistically and historically, a leading-edge, up-to-date dental office is one of the safest places you can be. I certainly feel safe here.
